Nigeria's Death Toll from COVID-19 Exceeds 900

In the midst of the dwindling number of confirmed COVID-19 cases, death toll on Tuesday shot up to 910, with 14 new fatalities recorded for the day.

This comes as the country recorded 304 new infections, making a total of 44433 confirmed cases, since the outbreak of the respiratory disease in Nigeria.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC via its verified Twitter handed disclosed that 31851 infected persons have since recovered from the disease and have been discharged.

The 304 new cases, according to the health agency are reported from 19 states, with  FCT leading with 90 cases  while Lagos lags behind with 59 cases, followed by Ondo with 39 cases.

Then Taraba -18, Rivers -17, Borno -15, Adamawa -12, Oyo -10, Delta -9, Edo -6, Bauchi-4, Kwara -4, Ogun -4 Osun -4, Bayelsa -3 Plateau -3, Niger -3,Nasarawa -2 and Kano -1.
